"Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" helped me understand the diffrent meanings and purposes of some of these magical animals. "Quiddich Through THe Ages" and "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" arne't bad books. (But if you want to know what a crumplehornsnorkak is good luck because they sure arn't in "Fantastic Beasts And Where To find Them"). If you need help understandidng some thing that's Quiddich or animal realated try one of these books. They give you information that can help you understand the Harry Potter books better. "Quiddich Through The Ages" does help you understand what would be an illeagal move was and simmilar stuff like that.
And nice that the profits go for a good cause. These were no let down, and filled in some of the behinds the scenes in the book fun, and helped fill in some gaps of informaiton from the series.
I have since picked them up every once in awhile to read to my kids because they're so funny. These little books got me through the gap when I was desperate for the next book to come out.
If your kids love Harry Potter, I reccomend you get these books for them. It is like you are actually reading their library book. I wasn't sure about these books, but they are very interesting and informative. Also, in the Fantastic Beasts, Harry, Ron, and Hermione all write in notations and different commentaries as you read.
And there's no time to do anything about it. I made a point of buying this Brand New so he would have it for his collection. Now it's not even worth adding to his collection. It's very sad. Thanks for nothing. It arrived and the plactic cover was all torn and shredded and the box that held the books was damaged. I got this set for my nephew for his birthday. The actually books were also dented and damged but the outside packaging was fine.
